PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This 4 Unit Housing project, located within California’s Mojave National Preserve consisted of demolition of the new construction of a 3,600 square foot single story quad-plex residence building. The residence building was a design-build post tension foundation, wood framed with and EIFS exterior, with two units being ADA adaptable and compliant. Photo-voltaic arrays were installed atop a steel carport structure and provide supplemental power to this facility. Underground water service connections were made to an existing well-fed storage tank source and a septic system. Extreme weather construction methods were utilized during winter and summer months at this remote site.
