PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Work for the 9,125 square foot Humboldt County Emergency 911 Communications building in Winnemucca, Nevada consisted of a concrete, CMU and structural steel structure with complete interior and exterior improvements. Interiors consisted of call center rooms, restrooms, dispatch and common area spaces. Mechanical, electrical and low voltage systems were extensive and included York air handlers and VAV systems, Boilers and CRAC Systems (Computer Room Air Conditioning), raised access flooring systems for networking infrastructure needs, 175Kw backup generator system with ATS, UPS and digital control monitoring systems and a 80’ design/build satellite tower. Site development included complete utility infrastructure work, site concrete, asphalt and landscaping. BHC partnered with the owner to discover value engineering options which ultimately decreased the overall project cost and this project was completed one month ahead of schedule.
