PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This 56,810 square foot senior affordable apartment facility consists of a three story wood framed, fully sprinkled building. The building includes (42) one bedroom and (18) two bedroom, single bath apartments with private laundry rooms. Apartment units are built in compliance with Energy Star as prescribed by The Nevada Housing Division which include full Energy Star appliance packages, mechanical systems, lighting and windows. Common spaces include a attached single story community building with a vestibule, lobby, business center, kitchenette, office spaces, restrooms, mail area and food pantry. Additional common spaces include a exercise room, common corridors, trash chute rooms, mechanical rooms and an elevator. Complete on and off-site development included concrete walks, gutters and drainage easements, exterior lighting, fully landscaped grounds, automatic entry gates for secure parking, an outdoor barbeque and picnic area, a dog park and community garden and a bicycle storage building. The Golden Rule also included is a roof mounted 78 kw photovoltaic system.
