Affordable Housing

Over the past decade, BHC has become a leader in Affordable Housing construction. We have worked very closely with a handful of Developers whose missions are driven to provide safe, affordable housing for their community’s low-income residents, seniors and veterans. In doing so, BHC has become a key Team member with our Affordable Housing Development Clients as we have been able to provide essential pre-development services that are important to our client’s success in securing project financing. Programs administered through the Nevada Housing Division have created finance vessels through the sale of tax credits, as well as several other federal and state funding sources that assist our clients with the necessary financing to put affordable housing projects together and see them built. BHC understands the process, which at times can be very challenging for our clients and we strive to provide all of the essential pieces necessary to for a successful project.

Over the past 10+ years, the vast majority of BHC’s Affordable Housing projects have been funded through the sale of tax credits in addition to funding through state and federal programs which help fill gaps in overall project funding; projects totaling well over (1,000) apartment units. A partial list of recent projects is below:
